Is it ok to keep my electronic digital weight scale on the floor if I have a cat?
Might sound silly, but I’ve heard that these body fat measuring scales emit a very small amount of electricity through your body to measure body fat and I wanted to make sure this would not hurt my cat if he were to get curious and step on it or come in contact with it… Thanks.
Don’t worry about it; cats are a lot smarter than they let on. Exposure to a body fat detector will not harm the cat. And if the cat is the least bit bothered by it you can rest assured that it won’t make a return visit.
