How long are frozen home made meals good for?
I’m 9 months pregnant and would like to freeze some meals in advance for when the baby is born. I’d like to do it sooner then later in case he comes early…but if he doesn’t, it could be as long as a month from now until we start eating them. Will they still taste good?

A month is normal, but I’ve left them for 3 months and they’ve been fine – I was in a student house, and would cook enough for 4, eat one portion, eat one the next day and freeze the other two. You just might want to add a little more liquid or seasoning, herbs or chili powder. Rice or pasta you’d need to cook fresh when you defrost it, but potato e.g. shepherds pie should be fine.
