Can I use chicken drippings in Chicken Noodle Soup?
I’m planning on making chicken noodle soup tomorrow and am going to be using a whole chicken that I’m going to bake tomorrow.
The last time I made chicken noodle soup I just used chicken stock but is there a way to make my own chicken stock I guess using the drippings in the pan?
YES, please use the drippings! That’s where the flavor comes from.. In fact, I made my chicken soup from drippings today, it tasted soooo good, way better than anything you ever buy from the store..
I just dropped whatever’s left over in a pot, add water, the drippings, chopped onions, chopped carrots, chopped celery and salt and pepper to taste.. Then add your noodles of choice and BAM, you got a great meal..
